BED & BREAKFAST

Nestling in the village of Defynnog, Ty Glan Yr Afon is a charming house offering simple and comfortable B&B accommodation and good tasty breakfasts using fresh local produce wherever possible.
The house dates back to 1506 when it was the village coaching inn, and was extended to the back in 1790 where the guest rooms are situated.
In the centre of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Defynnog is a small ancient village with a good local pub and a church.
The pub serves food seven days a week and is an excellent place to meet the locals. There is more choice of food and shops in neighbouring Sennybridge.
There are mountain walks and stunning scenery with scarcely a person to be seen leading from the village, and easy access to the popular walks and the Georgian market town of Brecon. We are happy to recommend walks & outings which can be planned over breakfast!
WE ARE JUST OFF THE MAIN SENNYBRIDGE TO SWANSEA ROAD WHICH, ALTHOUGH QUIET, IS KEPT CLEAR OF SNOW, SO VERY LITTLE DANGER OF BEING SNOWED IN.
